Help Bluetooth problems anyone?

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone has experienced problems with Bluetooth on their GN?

Just tried to pair to my car (so I can make phone calls) and the Nexus couldn't detect any devices. I used to have no problems connecting my Nexus 1 to it.

Small sample size I know, but I was wondering if there was anything I should be aware of.

Thanks.

I have no problems connecting to my headset, but it couldn't find my Satnav. Or my satnav couldn't find my Nexus...age compatibility?

I was unable to connect to my car (Seat 2010) until I downloaded Bluetooth File Transfer. Once I'd paired through the app I was unable to uninstall it without any issues.

Don't know how / why it worked, but it's my goto "Bluetooth troubles" app on Android..

Sorted! User error on my part :(. There was a step in the Bluetooth pairing on my car that I missed.

Bluetooth works fine :).

I was having this same problem trying to pair with the factory hands free in my Lexus IS 350. My GN would sometimes identify the handsfree and sometimes would not. When it did, I would try to pair but the GN would never let me enter the passkey (and Lexus would not let me turn that requirement off).

Per CodeMonkey's suggestion, I installed BFT. That app always identified the handsfree and would let me enter the passkey but still had problems connecting. For some reason, though, after I did this, I was able to go through the GN's standard bluetooth setting screen and enter the passkey and connect.

They say that insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. But that's exactly what I did here and for some reason, I got different results. This experience was a real pain in the ass in an otherwise fine phone.
