Help Bluetooth Problems ?

I cant get mine to pair with my windows 7 machine. They see each other but everytime they try and connect I get "could not connect due to a wrong PIN". Problem is I cant ever change the pin on the pc or the phone cuz it doesnt give me that option.

My machine and phone pair and connect to my plantronics headset but the phone is a whole other story.

I'm am having the exact same problem with my Samsung Vibrant:

I am having problems getting the vibrant to automatically connect to my car's bluetooth (Pioneer AVIC-D3) .. I can pair it properly and it works but the next time I get in the car it never automatically finds the unit. Turning of/on bluetooth on the phone has no effect. What does work is going into the bluetooth settings and manually connecting the bluetooth to my navigation system. The car then picks it up and it works fine until the next trip.

I should not have to go threw this process in my phone. I have had several other phones and the bluetooth has always worked fine in the car so I know it's not the car's system..

I've looked at this entire thread and can't find the exact problem.

About 2 months ago, it would work with my car Pioneer system sometimes.

Then, about a month ago, behold, something happened and it worked consitently and perfectly.

Then, about two weeks ago it stopped working altogether. It pairs with the car and it makes a call. But as soon as the number is reached, everything goes mute.

Tried pairing and unpairing...but same result.

I suspect Sprint or Samsung is "pushing" new software out to the phone. It would be nice if they let us know when they do this and how we can identify what the bluetooth version is (is it in the build -Eclair, DJ07, the Firmware 2.1-Update1, the Kernel - 2.6.29 or someplace else.

Anyway know?

I have a Sony Headunit now with BT and it pairs automatically as long as I don't pair to my Jazbone in between. After a powercycle though I do still have to make it discoverable again. Oh well. I just wish I could figure out what causes the skipping on BT audio with the sony that doesn't occur with my jawbone.
