Bluetooth Questions

Hello:

Is there a way to connect two android devices to my Windows 8 PC simultaneously? I can connect each device individually, but connecting one disconnects the other, and then disconnects the devices from each other. I was thinking of connecting my wife's phone as well, so if multiple android devices can connect simultaneously, what is the limit?

The devices in question are a Droid 4 phone and an Amazon Kindle Fire HD (wife's phone is a Samsung Galaxy).

Next question - I can transfer files to the devices from the PC using Bluetooth but not the other way around. What am I missing? Note: I can transfer files from the devices using USB but would prefer to use Bluetooth to do it wirelessly.

#3 - I can stream audio through my computer from the devices. Any way I can stream Video? I did't see it as an option.

Last, are there any apps out there where I can set up the tablet or phone to use the touchscreen with the PC - USB or Bluetooth - maybe as a third monitor or something? I haven't found anything yet on my own, and thought it would be neat and handy if you could.

welcome to AF!!!!!!!

i moved you to the android lounge for better views.

1. i do not think you can do this. i never heard of such a thing via bluetooth. you can try and get a usb bluetooth adapter maybe? not sure if that will work but it is a thought. what are you trying to do, out of curiosity.

2. i would use AirDroid works pretty good without a usb cord and no need for bluetooth.

3. and try this:AirStream: Stream PC over Air

Hello:

Thanks for the reply. I can always connect using USB - I would just rather not have to use the cables. I am just trying to transfer files back and forth between the PC, the tablet, and the phone, and thought if I can do this all at my PC's controls while the devices all connect wirelessly via Bluetooth that it would simplify the process and cut down on the cords.

I'll look into the other apps and give them a try for the other stuff. Thanks for the help. :)
