Accessories bluetooth receiver for a car, line-in...

I personally installed the G2-1100 unit from here and I absolutely love it. That one in particular fits in the cigarette lighter socket. Auto-connects, mutes radio on incoming call, answer, redial, hang up, voice actions, music skip, mute during call, etc all from the unit's keypad. Also streams Slacker/Pandora wonderfully!

well, my aux in box died yesterday, so either I get a new one (~$130 currently) or I get a new stereo for the Tundra. I'm looking at a nice JVC model that has bluetooth built in, so my question is how good is the audio quality when streaming audio from your phone through your car stereo? Comparable to an aux in, fm modulator, etc?

In my opinion/experience the best connection is with an aux in cable, second is built in BT, and third is BT aux in, then last would be anyway other means of using an FM transmitter.

The FM transmitter is the worst but is pretty good if you are sitting still in a good area with no one else using an FM transmitter around you. Other than that you tend to get periodic interference.

Best of all is to get a stereo with both BT and aux in then you have choices.
