I Just bought a new car stereo that has bluetooth calls and steaming capabilites. Questions as Follows

Can I stream music over blue tooth with my 910. I am running ES and Basix.

If yes will winamp stream over bluetooth?

Since I am really new to bluetooth other then one ear piece for phone calls in the past. Can I actually control winamp from the stereo using the stereo buttons meaning like pause/next/previous etc.

Thanks in advance

The Deck I just bought

The best answer: just try it out, dude. Nothing can go wrong anyways.
Depending on the Bluetooth capabilities of your radio, you may be able to do all of the above.
IIRC, winamp does support Bluetooth streaming and controls, so if your radio is up to the task it should be fine once it's setup.

Ok here is my results and questions now.

First it seems to select the defualt music player as its music player of choice. Which is ok except the shuffle mode is not a true shuffle mode it plays in a set order. So the first 2 questions are.

1. Can you delete the predetermined shuffle mode play list so it makes another random one?

2. Can you replace the defualt music player on your phone?

I tried using winamp and it just started cycling my songs (2-3 a second)never actually playing one. I would love for winamp to be my defualt music player and make it workwith the radio. I can cycle songs and play with the defualt music player but the shuffle mode issue is kind of lame. Plus with winamp I can add internet radio or shoutcasts.

Try this: Go to settings-> applications-> manage applications and select the All tab. Scroll down the list once it's loaded and find the entry for the default music player.
Click on it and scroll down and click on "clear defaults".
You may now exit the app manager.
next time you try to interface with the Bluetooth module from your car, the phone should, in theory, ask you what application to use. Select Winamp and see if that works for you.

My phone has no default music player assigned, but the deck I have doesn't seem to like winamp. I got it to work with another music player by freezing the stock one. But it would be nice if I could use winamp for the shoutcasts etc.
