Help bluetooth volume not good!!

I have the Samsung Galaxy s4 with the Galaxy Gear Smart Watch. When I have a call I can hardly hear the people on the speaker on the watch. I do have the Bluetooth volume at its max on the cell phone. Are there any recommended apps or fixes to boost the volume on the watch?

I'm not familiar with the smartwatch but I would think this would be a limitation of the speaker within the watch and not a Bluetooth issue. I use a Bluetooth speakerphone and the volume is just fine during calls.
