Thinking of getting Bluetooth headset/ear buds to listen to stuff with. Will using Bluetooth use more battery than using wired headset/buds ? TIA

Yes it will, but IMO it is negligible. I would much rather have the convenience of no wires. Bluetooth was designed to be a very low power, short range wireless solution.

It will drain your battery.. but the main problem I see with bluetooth earbuds is just the fact that most people wont realize you're wearing them at first and will try to talk to you, leading to confusion haha. And of course one could possibly confuse it as a bluetooth earpiece you use for talking, in which case they'll think "**** that guy, I get a really pretentious vibe from him for some reason..."

Plus wired would be a lot harder to lose, if you're like me and end up losing track of stuff like that after a while without using them.

Depends on the situation.

I use Bluetooth in my car. I use Bluetooth when working out (stereo, not single ear).

I use corded when sitting somewhere like on a plane and I don't want disturbed (over ear Bose so people can clearly see I will not be listening to them)

But I do sometimes think people are talking to themselves when they actually are on the phone

Few things are more awkward than when somebody I don't know in public says something and there's nobody else around, so I think they're talking to me. I respond and then notice they're talking on a bluetooth piece.
