I hope someone can help me diagnose this issue.
I have a fairly new Motorola bluetooth earbud paired with my Optimus V. It works GREAT in the house and has fabulous range. My phone can be in the house and the bluetooth will work even out in the yard a little ways. No complaints there.
But when I get in the car, the bluetooth will randomly disconnect even if the phone is on my shoulder next to my ear. I can press the headset button and get it to reconnect after a couple tries. Whis this happens, I'm usually listening to podcasts via Stitcher. But when the bluetooth cuts out and then reconnects, the Optimus music player starts up, instantly picking up wherever I had left off in the playlist the last time I used it, which might have been days ago.
So...
Might the disconnect be happening due to interference from my car or from outside sources?
Why does the music player start even if I haven't used it for days??
Is the disconnect problem with the headset or the phone?
Would love to have some theories!
