Help Bluetooth woes

Ive made the jump from apple to android with a galaxy s 2 and so far impressed. The only thing that really bugs me is the Bluetooth. I've looked around the settings and google but haven't found answers.

Anyway here it goes.

1 on my iPhone when I start the car the iPhone auto connected to my ford mondo, with the galaxy the only way I can get it to connect is to manually connect it via the phone.

2 when I dial out on my car or van the hands free just beeps, the phone asked me if I want to call via dialer, Skype or viber. I want it to always choose dialer as I'm not supposed to touch my phone when driving.

Any ideas on things I can try?

Not sure how to sort 1 but with 2 you should get an option to set as default. So give it a go when your not driving and you should see a tick box under the options. Select this and then choose dialer. The next time it should automatically use the dialer.
