Help bluetooth

Hi,

Could someone help me?

I would like to make a bluetooth connection with a laptop or a Nokia 2700.

I can pair them but does not connect.

What can I do?

The first question is are you on 1.6 or 2.1?

If its 1.6 and have market access try the Bluetooth File Transfer app, that let me connect my phone to my netbook. I read elsewhere about certain Nokia phones being tricky but this app may help.

If you are on 2.1, you should just make your device discoverable and then scan for devices and then pair in the normal way. I still have Bluetooth File Transfer app on 2.1, I prefer it for somethings.

I am on 2.1, it is discoverable and paired, but it can not connect.
do I need File Transfer app for the connection?

I didn't think you did, but hey its free so download it and give it a go.

I have just tried my phone again with my Samsung Netbook and my old Sony C902 and just sent an image to and from my phone even tho they both say paired but not connected. So maybe ignore what it says and just try sending a file to or from the phone and see what happens.

Well i have a kinda same issue. I can share files with a x10 mini but not with other phones. Did not tried with other android phones yet. I tried with bluetooth file transfer app bit it didn't worked.
