Help bluetooth

So, I'm a little surprised to see nobody complaining about this in this forum. Is nobody here having the bluetooth issue? I am, and it's actually quiet irritating. I use BT alot (atleast I used to). This phone has pretty much rendered my Jam speaker completely useless.

I told myself I wouldn't root this phone (who am I kidding) but if this turns out to be a software/firmware thing and some dev fixes it before HTC does, Imma have to d/l that ROM.
 
Yeah, what BT problem are you having? Initially, I was having some problems with the BT connection to my Ford Fusion, but when they pushed that software update that was fixed. Now, my phone connects just fine to my car. I also connect it reliably to a BT clock radio I have and even to my wife's Note 2 when I want to large files easily (NFC doesn't always work for some reason, sometimes it tries to open a nonexistent app and gets an error screen in the Play Store).
 
I have an issue with the BT and my GMC Acadia. The phone connects good, but everytime I try to call someone from my phone book it never calls the right person and I mean NEVER.
 
When I connect to my bt speaker it works for a few minutes then starts cutting out every few seconds.

A quick Google search told me I wasn't the only one with this problem. Everyone keeps talking about some software update that got pushed but I have no idea what they are talking about. What version are you guys running? im running 2.04.605.2
 
Hmm, I have my pebble set up on blue tooth, as well as my car and a blue tooth headset, all work fine for me.

according to Google, most people who are complaining are complaining about connecting to their vehicles BT, my vehicle doesn't have BT I just want to connect to my Jam Speaker =[

Mine's 2.06.605.1 710RD.

There was an update recently that "addressed bluetooth issues" of some sort but there were no specifics as far as I can remember. Although I don't have any issues connecting to audio gateways, I've noticed that my Sony Ericsson bluetooth headset is useless for calls now. Everyone says I'm so muffled as to be unintelligible. Still works OK for music, though.
 
I'm really surprised all these BT problems still exist. I had the same issues but the update cleared them all up for me. I wonder why it didn't work for you guys.
