Help Blur Dialer stopped working...help.

I'm running a completely stock X with Gingerbread for for no reason that I know of, my Blur dialer just stopped working. When I click on the shortcut, try to access it from the apps menu, or even try to get it to it from my contacts app, nothing happens. It literally just goes to the home screen if it does anything at all. I've stopped dialer in manage apps, rebooted the phone, pulled battery, and nothing has helped. I loaded up Dialer One just so that I can place a call but I don't really want this.

Please give me some suggestion on how I might can fix this without doing a wipe and reload?

Try going to settings>apps>manage apps>all apps tab>and click on dialer and hit the clear data button.

The dialer doesn't store any data so there is none to clear.
