Help Blur Email Sent folder not syncing

Using the deafult Blur email app for my company email, which uses IMAP. This is not an exchange account. The Sent folder used to sync every email I sent, but no longer does. Everything else works ok and the emails are getting delivered. I do not want to have to erase the account and start fresh, but may have to come to that, but will this problem happen again?

Thank you in advance.

I had the exact same problem. I had been syncing to my imap account using the defailt EMAIL client that came from my Verizon Droid 2. It calls itself mail 1.0.

My problem was first noticed when my SENT directory viewed on my phone through this email client stopped working but it left an imprint of all message headers in the SENT directory on the phone as of the point where the sync to this folder stopped working.

In addition, if I sent an email from the phone using IMAP, the message would not appear in my IMAP SENT directory on my other clients also configured to the same IMAP account.

I tried:
1) Setting the SENT directory on the phone to 'background' and 'manual' sync - no joy
2) Removing my IMAP account using the 'settings > account' then setting it back up - no joy
3) I tried moving all of the messages from my SENT directory on a working IMAP device then tried again on the droid phone - no joy
4) I then tried deleting from the droid phone all of the messages 'stuck' in the SENT directory on the phone then resyncing - no joy

I could send messages to myself from the droid and they would appear in the INBOX of all of my IMAP clients but the message would not show up in the SENT directory on any of them.

I thought it looked like the outbound message was being sent by another mail server other than my IMAP server so I looked at header which seemed to show my droid sending the message directly to my IMAP mail server.

Finally, the verizon rep suggested that I load the K-9 free mail client on my droid. 3 minutes later, I had perfect email with everything proper in its place on my phone. The K-9 client is also more feature rich and readable than the standard email client. So, I dumped the Blur email and now am a happy K-9 user. I am reporting the issue to Verizon who hopefully will also notify whomever produces the defailt mail client (Google? / Motorola?) to fix the bug.

Hope this is helpful to someone...
