Getting really frustrated as I do not have a working gallery... Running Apex 1.4.1 I've tried using the toolbox scripts but they aren't working for me. I've read that Fab is changing severs our something, no prob there. Just wondering if there might be another option for me to get a gallery back up. preferably the blur gallery but at this point any one will work.

Thank you,
Mike

I don't have gallery either. My gallery was not showing any pics so I tried to switch to the blur gallery with apex toolbox. No I don't have a gallery at all.

Same here, I found Gallery ++ in the market and it has been working as a replacement. Kind of fun frustrating, his server has been down for a while now....

If your gallery isn't showing any pics you are probably on the wrong kernel version.

The reason you have no gallery now at all is when you tried to change it via the toolbox it removes the current gallery (aosp) and tries to install the blur. But since fab's site is down it never gets the blur so you end up with no gallery.

wow, it's still down? :(

I don't think I'm on the wrong kernel version. I have been on apex 1.4.1 since it came out and it has been working fine until yesterday. I shouldn't i didn't have any pictures, my gallery showed my picasa pics and one picture in my camera folder. I over 200 images of the same picture in my camera folder. If I access the pictures through astro it is fine.

I didn't realize his site was still down. It said it was successful when I tried to change galleries.

Did they show up all grey? That was the issue on the wrong kernel I believe. Astro would be fine even though the gallery wasn't working properly on others I think.

Yeah, that is the issue, it still says successful because the script finishes even though it didn't download the files. :( Apparently it is a DNS problem, they haven't moved it over to the new hosting company yet.

Is this the right kernal?

Thanks

I might try out a different rom. I really like apex, but I have had this issue and another with videos not playing. I haven't tried liberty, I think I'll check it out.

Quick Solution:
Re-Flash Apex 1.4.1. Don't wipe cache or data.

For me this got the AOSP gallery back up which will work for the time being. It will add back some previously frozen or deleted apps like Madden but for the most part you should be back to normal.

But still no solution to getting the Blur gallery back? The AOSP/3D gallery SUCKS in how it is integrated (or not) with the camera.
