well....it is very difficult to get a pic of a person waving his hand or moving a bit fast ...for eg ..past night we were having group photos..in most of he pics the person who is standing still (in pic he is clear ) while the person who is moving or jumping coming blurred ....why????

my settings are default and i have taken camera lens cover out....but sill not satisfied

and even in videos .if u have kept phone fixed the video quality is fine but if you are holding it in hand......then its wavy all the time....

help.....my friend make laugh of me for purchasing my lovable desire!!!

Its basic photography.

When you take a photo, a sensor is exposed to light during the time when the shutter is open. Everything whilst the shutter is open is recorded as an image.

If you had a camera where you can adjust the amount of time the shutter opens, and ask it to remain open for 1 minute, during that 1 minute, an object you are pointing the camera at is likely to move.

For every position this object / person is in whilst the shutter remains open, is recorded by the sensor, therefore on the finished photograpah, EVERY position the object or person was in - is recorded. This results in a blurry image.

This can often be done for effect.

fort example, keeping a camera with a long exposure can result in images like this:

or this

The shorter the exposure, the more chance everything will be crisper and still.

Like this:

If something is moving faster than your shutter speed, you will get blurry photos.

Like someone mentioned in the other thread you posted in today, increasing the ISO may help reduce exposure, but only in light conditions.

Yes and increasing the ISO setting also decreases the amount of light getting to the sensor (or limits the time light can get to the sensor) so although you might get less blurring you'll get a lot more noise.
Noise is grainy streaks of blue and purple in the darker areas of the photo.

Which is why I use a low ISO, I may not get noise but I do get blurring especially in low light.

So damned if you do, damned if you don't.

True. Thats why i never use my phone's camera.

Its good for emergency use, but if I go somewhere where I want to specifically take photos, I pack my trusty nikon.

A dedicated camera is always going to do a better job at taking pictures.

Sucks for making calls or sending txts though ;)

Actually we have an Ixus and that fits in the pocket (just) - not bad snaps either.
It's certainly no SLR though, I'd love one but couldn't justify the expense.

so at night or low light condition i have to higher the iso....?? instead of auto or jst have to find right iso thats suits manually

Exactly.
What ever you do though remember it's a phone with a cheap digital camera included.
Not a camera with a phone.

TBH no matter what you do in low light conditions you'll be lucky to get great shots.

The camera can take great pictures in good light but it can be hit and miss

One I took up close in low light.

IMAG0489.jpg

One I took outdoors in good light.

The camera can take very good pics, but for each of those like above I took lots more that look crap ;)

I could only afford an SLR due to insurance money from a burglary.

I had my fathers Nikon D60 he leant me (which was his spare spare). The equivelant today is a D5000. They gave me the value of the camera and my dad let me keep it.

Very nice of him

well one more question might be silly.... if i root ....so are there ROMs that might make camera a bit better....just in case...
