Bookmarking sites

I really hate the facebook app for my phone and I just figured out the touch facebook site.. is there anyway that i can put that link on my home page so I don't have to use the app and I can get to the site easier?

also.. i'm sure there is a way to do this but can I download apps on my computer and then sync them to the phone?

Load the page you want in the browser>menu>more>settings>set as home page

Add to Home (+) > Shortcut > Bookmark ... then select the bookmark you want on your home.
