Long press works in the bookmarks list view, for me at least...

Ok, I'm running dolphin browserhd, so I don't know if this will work for you, but i got it for me... Open a bookmark, then press menu,bookmarks, THEN longpress the bookmark, scroll the menu to delete, and bing, there you go. Hope it is similar for the stock bookmark app...

Why, yes there is. At least in the stock browser. Grid view or thumbnail view - and both give me a delete option as well
