Help Boomsound with bluetooth

Is there any way to override the disabling of BoomSound when using my Bluetooth headset? I haven't tried linking with my car stereo since the update but if it's also disabled I will be very disappointed. That's one of the things I liked about the M8 and now it doesn't work.

BoomSound is not available when connecting via bluetooth, but do you think it's necessary when connecting to a car stereo? I don't find there is much difference to the sound when connecting via cable or bluetooth when in the car and if there is I just adjust the car stereo settings.

As for the car I agree that I can help it but that still doesn't help with my Bluetooth headphones . I'm wondering how the Bluetooth HTC BoomSound speakers work now

If you're rooted, you can soundshape your Bluetooth output for the same effects.

Put in your status bar for fast on/off access.

Rooting isn't for everyone but if it is for you, there's your way out.

Thanks for the information but I'm not really interested in rooting so I guess I'm stuck with it.

Well after an hour and a half of chat with HTC I was informed that BoomSound isn't disabled with Bluetooth and I have a problem with the devices I'm trying to use. They suggested I contact jabra & Pioneer to correct the problem.
