I at a loss on where to post this question so I will post it here and can move it if needed. I am using the default email app and one problem keep reoccurring. I losing my unread email notifications. I am using Nova Launcher Prime as my main launcher. When I look at app info it does not all me to select "Show notifications" and checking other email app its check-able. Other apps like messenger can be toggled as well. I not been able to find out if its check-able atm. I gonna throw this post up here and get hopefully get info from you all. Let me know if more info needed or any way I get my email working properly.

Do you have the additional application for it?

I using get unread counts getting everything but my unread email with this app.
I can see unread messages in gmail, voicemail, and phone all work just no unread emails showing email are d/l ok.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teslacoilsw.notifier&hl=en

I just got a bunch of emails from 3 of 5 the accounts I use showing unread on email app. After opening email app the email app now shows them as being read and there still unread. Gmail seems to be working ok too.

Whats the question you are asking VivisClone? I not following the question.

This really has nothing to do with my Rom. Please start a new thread with your question.

Hi moonknightus
I will start a thread somewhere else. Only reason I am asking in this thread was due to the ability to install the 2 email apps comes from your ROM and only one can be setup to be used at a time as for me they have conflicted with one another. I was hoping to see if anyone here had the same problem or even that both email apps work together with no problems. If it was most any other problem would not even be asking here but I need to be able to know if I have unread email.

Thank you for your explanation. It still has nothing to do with the ROM as you can install multiple e-mail clients on any ROM. Please post your question in a separate thread.

-------------------------------------------------
RELEASE NOTES: Sometimes the Wi-Fi SSID disappears from the quick settings tile even when connected. I haven't been able to quite figure out why. Either way, a quick on-off toggle fixes it every time as far as I can tell.

The right-side pulldown zone size has been significantly reduced. It currently sits at about 30% of the right-hand side of the notification bar in portrait orientation and about 40% in landscape.

If you are in the quick settings panel and receive a notification, the system will switch over to notifications automatically. I made this intentional because for whatever reason after I implemented the new Notifications-to-Quick Settings/Quick Settings-to-Notifications animation, notifications wouldn't show up after switching back to Notifications. This fixes it. Sorry if it's inconvenient but at least it's usable.

There may be other changes that are included in this release. I suffered a hard drive crash (again for those of you who remember my work on Conquest for the Victory) and, while I was able to recover most of my work, I lost my changelog. I think I got everything but I can't remember for sure.

EDIT: Bug in this release. Somewhere along the way, I screwed up the clear notifications button. Can't believe I didn't catch this before release. Ah well... 5.1 coming in about an hour or so.

EDIT 2:

------------------------------------
RELEASE NOTES: Updater script is fixed in this one. I think the reason that it wasn't working for 5.1 for some people was that I omitted the fixprop script for updating the build.prop but was still trying to call it from the updater script. Either way, it should be working fine now.

This is a cumulative update, so it includes the updates from 5.1; you must be on 5.0 or 5.1 before applying this update.

Conquest. This ROM is bad 2 the bone.

just curious maybe its already been asked and I did not see it. Are you planning to add to your ROM when rebooting the phone the ability to boot up to recovery, reboot, bootloader, power off and hot boot like the Quick Boot app I am using. I think be great if it was integrated into your ROM imho?

Nah. It's not particularly useful to me. I can use ADB to reboot my phone into whatever mode I need to when I'm at home and rebooting to recovery is as simple as holding volume up+home when I'm not.

You should look in to xposed modules. What the Rom doesn't have more than likely can be added

There's an app on Play called Quickboot. If has what you're looking for. I've been running it for a few years now. ;)

EDIT:
Also, as Vivid mentioned, you can use Xposed too. There are 2 Wanam modules. Make sure you use Wanam Xposed. Wanam Kit is for AOSP. The power menu you mentioned is in Wanam. The biggest difference between the Wanam mod and the Quick boot app is that Wanam offers the screen shot option in the power menu where as the Quick boot app only reboots, reboots recovery, hot boots, and turns off. your phone.

Ya I was using the Quickboot app myself and it was doing the job but I looked at the Wanam Xposed app to see how it worked. It took awhile to get it setup and working properly but I got it working now and its great. Its just like the addon I wanted only this has a lot more tweaks to it I can use so it was worth the time it took to get it working. :)

Here a shot my Conquest 5.2 phone with the new built in boot options I have now. Looks sweet imho!

---------------------------------
RELEASE NOTES: Please take care to read the FAQs again before installing this release as there have been some new ones added regarding features specific to this release, especially the Google Dialer. In a nutshell, the Google Dialer is not compatible with the stock TouchWiz phone app (in-call app) as it cannot access the call logs generated by it. The AOSP phone app, however, is not compatible with TouchWiz messaging and does not contain the roaming settings menu present in the TouchWiz phone app. Also, special dialer codes do not work with the Google Dialer.

Special thanks go out to bob-st, Madbat, roirraW "edor" ehT, and wetbiker7 for testing this release for me and helping make sure it's as rock solid as possible. As with any release, there may be bugs present that we didn't see so please post here if you encounter any problems.

You what I like to see and I know its probably not gonna happen but I have to ask. I just got my Galaxy S3 about 4 months ago and I just updated it to kitkat recently and now I am trying learning about root and installing ROMs is new to me. Even the Android OS is new to me!

I would like to at least see some screen shots of the different apps that can be installed so I get a visualization or how the different apps look and if possible find out what features they have between the different apps.

I been pretty much been trying to search google for the info on the apps and I just been installing everything except the google email I know I dont want to use to see what I will might use later.

I recommend spending time on the stock rom if you're new to android. This ROM is not really geared toward inexperienced users.

RELEASE NOTES: Another tweak to the WiFi tile text. This time to match the AOSP behavior. Wi-fi off shows "WI-FI OFF." Wi-fi on, not connected shows "WI-FI." Wi-fi on, connected shows the SSID.

While working on the TTS and captions issue, I remembered that I had removed a few options from the settings app for the 6.1 release so the changelog for that release has been updated.

Hope everybody likes the new boot animation. It's really not that much different from the old one, just less cluttered in my opinion, and also about half the file size of the original.

Speaking of file sizes, the zip for this release is smaller overall because I managed to knock about 6MB out of the Settings app by nullifying (reducing size to 1px by 1px) a bunch of images that we don't use. Please if you notice anything off due to this, let me know (screenshot preferable).
