Root [Boost Mobile] Anyone who wants the best battery life ect look what I just found

Just hit the download link at the bottom of the page nd install like your installing a apk from the internet just turn on the install from unknown sources in settings

Could you link the original xda thread please? That article seems pretty fishy to me with the grammatical errors and lack of proper citation. The link to xda just downloads it.

It seems like a lot of people are having issues with that app causing strange bugs.

I'll keep tabs on the progress, but I'm going to watch from the sidelines for now.

Cool app though, thanks for the head up !

Yeah i know ,but they released an update because of that,I just thought it was pretty cool, its now on the play store

I'll give this a try.

Edit: this messes with our kernels? I hope it doesn't screw anything up.

It's an app similar to setcpu that cotrols the kernel.

It seems to have a lot more functionality than setcpu, but it looks relatively unstable for some.

ive tried it but it makes my phone lag ans freeze up constantly i uninstalled and restored now phone runs smooth again i dont reconmend

My phone got laggy when my battery hit 23%

Edit: My battery still dies the same, I'm going to try power save mode.

Edit: This app lags my phone to death, going to uninstall. Can anyone suggest a good battery app?

I was trying this out for a period of time, and later I began bug-testing some kernels. My phone locked up, and after restarting I had no 3G connection. Every time I went back into One Battery, my phone just locked up again. After reading how deeply this app accesses the system to optimize battery usage, I started thinking of every possible thing it could have done to disable my data. Turns out that One Battery had disabled the 3G connection to save battery life, and had made my phone so unstable that I had no way to undo its changes from within the app itself. Using Notification Launcher I was able to re-enable my data connection, but figuring out what the problem was turned out to be a multi-hour affair. I'm not saying this is necessarily a bad app, but if you do a lot of ROM or kernel testing, I would avoid using this.

I totally agree,I thought this app would be something it's not.....it needs a lot of work maybe in the near future it will be better, I personal uninstalled also because of data lot loss nd freezing, thanks for downloading and testing it ,sorry if you felt it was a waste of time and battery lol

You lost data as well?? I found half the things on my SD card missing and what remained had a size of 0 bytes. Weird behavior for a battery app. No problem, though, thanks for keeping an eye out for new tools for the community :-)

This works great! So long as your battery doesn't fall below 50% under that you in megalag city. So I said..... *delete*
