Root [Boost Mobile] Apk porting?

I was wondering if it were possible to move the system UI and framework-res apks from one Rom to another safely? Specifically from Shinru2004's Rom to ctmod? It has some xml Tweaks that I'd love to have since I can't put them in myself just because I suck at recompiling apks (something always goes wrong._. )
 
I've tried so much stuff with CT, but it never works because it's so tied up in different ways. Even stupid stuff like the calculator.apk fc's. It's how he themed it I think. He has a lot of aosp stuff that is integrated into the rom and simply deodexing and sticking whatever apk into another rom doesn't cut it.

I think your best bet in order to port CT stuff would just be to port the whole rom on top of the other rom you want to use.

If anybody can tell me how to switch phone and contacts from one rom to another I'd be ecstatic.

Do you mean the phone and contact apks? And thanks, I didn't know that. I'll try to port it over slowly to see what I can find about it being all tied up and stuff.

Yeah, the phone and apk apps. I've been trying to port the ones from ct over to my rom.
 
nvm, its flashed over successful! :D maybe because they're both stock roms :o
It does have its bugs though, like in some of the menus. But everything else looks great :D
