Root [Boost Mobile] best boost for under 200$

I know this is in the wrong place but since I've been with the warp so long and love it I'd like the warp community to give me their opinions of what they have or think I should upgrade to, that way I know it's coming from a customer base dedicated to a phone.

Hehe, agreed. I wanted to switch A LOT of times, but always found myself sticking with my warp. Its specs are a little outdated (and I had to buy an extended battery), but with the high support from the dev community, we've managed to make it almost lag-free and definitely better than out of the box.

But if you REALLY want to upgrade, I think you should get the Warp Sequent (good dev community too) or the latest ZTE phone, the Boost Force (seems like it's definitely worth it for its price, with its dual core and LTE compatibility). It's been a while, but I read that the LG Venice has a locked bootloader, which makes it hard to run CWM. Also, if you force uninstall some stock apps, you'll brick the phone.

If you can spend a bit more for a phone, I'd definitely definitely get the HTC SV One. It has a MUCH better battery life compared to the ZTE Force (and I think the Galaxy S2) and it has a bigger screen (.3 inches). And it also has a dual core and is LTE compatible! I'm not sure how developed that community is though. I think they managed to root it, but it doesn't have CWM or any roms yet.

^^^ This is what I do (doing random phone/tech research) when I'm not getting attacked by violent children at work.

Actually Shinru just started development for AOKP 4.1 on the One SV, so I can already tell things are gonna be good :D

I knowwww. I have phone insurance from best buy, so I'm thinking that maybe if my warp "randomly" stops booting up, I could just pay the difference between the Warp and the HTC phone to get it.

Implications?? Whaaa? I have no idea what you're talking about.

I've been reading up on the T-Metro merger and am now torn between staying on boost (with the htc one sv) or moving over to metro (with the galaxy s3). Thoughts?

I want something with fast internet speeds and a decent camera.

Edit: I could always try to wait for the LG Optimus F7 on Boost, but I don't think I can last that long. I definitely need to splurge on something to feel better about my job. O_O
 
I've pretty much already decided my next phone (not that it's anywhere near happening lol) will be the Boost Force.

Force OEM anyone? :D

I visit that forum a lot,:) I'm not seeing the true promise, of a dev community. Yet, anyway. :DSmaller screen is a drawback as well, for me :)
 
I think I might be getting a new phone sooner than expected. My warp randomly blank screen on me and when that happens, the red LED notification light is on. I have to pull the battery to restart it. I think I damaged it while chasing a violent child today at work.

Oooohs no! A reasonable excuse to buy a new phone! xD

LOL!! The Warp community is changing once again!! I will be gone soon myself:( But, Like you, I'm ready to move on. As so many have already done,:(

Ugh. I know what you mean. It kind of stinks. But I'm really glad that I stumbled onto this forum after my long debate between the Warp and the Marquee. :)

I think i'm going to get an S2 for daily, and keep my warp to practice deving. There are SOOOO many sick roms for that phone!
