I personally haven't checked that one out, but beware...a lot of different brand phones store boot animations in totally seperate area's of the system, and I've run into problems using something similar where I would have bricked my phone if i didnt know what I was doing...just b carefull..
EX: HTC, I tried some HTC boot animation/splash manager, totally screwed up the phone...my recommendation would always be to manually place the .zip and the .mp3, but ty for the link def worth taking a look at...

Ive changed my boot animation using absolute system

sorry guys. I re uploaded it in a .zip format.. I used to to change my boot animation. when it loads swipe down and select the .zip file. then hit menu and apply.. I hasve the spinning green android guy now.


Edit: it also will rename it to bootanimation when you apply it
