Root [Boost Mobile] Camera question

I am rooted with CWM running b08. I use camera ICS+ 1.2b and am wondering if there is a way to make it replace the stock camera app when I press the hard camera button on the side. Any ideas?

You need to remove the stock camera with a root unistaller and make the.ics camera a.system app
And you can do that with pro titanium or root toolbox or even moving it into the system apps folder and changing it permissions

That's what I was thinking but wasn't sure how to backup the stock camera just incase. Can I use titanium to backup the stock cam?

You can but it might not be able to restore im not sure and when you remove the stock camera stock email wont work either they both have to be in to work you can always just copy the camera apk and odex and save them on your sd

How much better is that then the stock camera? Especially when it comes to flash timing, stock camera flash timing sucks...

Its a lot better stock camera blows i replaced mine with miui camera but im gunna change it to ics
