Root [Boost Mobile] clock work mod after root attempting to add rom. need help

i got through rooting my phone just fine as per knoxville's youtube video but now that im attempting to install my first ROM i cant seem to get Clockwork Mod to boot on my phone.
the version of snake x's warp drive that he uses is different than mine and i need to choose between:
1. Root + ClockworkMod + data patch
2. Root your zte Warp
3. Install recovery data patch
4. Install ClockworkMod Recovery
5. Return to stock
6. Exit

if i select any of these my phone reboots and gets stuck on greed android and the WARP DRIVE reads "sending 'recovery' (5716 kb)" it gets frozen on this message and the phone gets stuck on the green android. i need to remove battery to restart phone and attempt again

im a complete newb and this is my first droid phone and my first post on here, i didnt see any similar posts or anyone who is having the same problem. i am attempting to install the Shinjitsu Rom. all help will be appreciated

Sounds like the drivers on your computer.

But the phone is still opening on "my computer" and its still recognized by the DOS program. How am i supposed to be rebooting in recovery?

well nevermind, instead of loading up clockwork through the computer i just downloaded root booter and did a reboot in recovery and things are going fine. thanks for the help.
