Root [Boost Mobile] Extended Power Menu

Im trying to make an extended power menu, im coming real close to finishing it, but I need to know which files we need to edit to get it to sucessfully work. I know about

android.policy.jar and framework-res.apk

but do you also need to edit framework.jar? The guide im using doesn't say anything about that file

Nope you only need to edit framework.jar when adding crt on/off effect.

android.policy.jar and framework-res.apk are the only files needed for the extended power menu

Thanks, that's what I thought. Im stuck right now though maybe you can help. I got the menu options to come up, except when I tap on one of the new options it seems to throw up the boot animation real quick and then send it to the lock screen. Any ideas?

Its a null point exception causing a force reboot, your missing something somewhere. Use adb logcat to get a live view when you hit it. It will give you some idea on whats going on or post it here.
