I stupidly flashed beats audio drivers not knowing they were only for 4.xx, and every time I try to play music it says " audio file not supported " Iv tryed reflashing rom but it didn't fix. Any suggestions?

might be a kernel issue, we are seeing that right now with the release candidate of glitch kernel

yea but thats not the kernel hes using i don't think... hes on voltron as far as i know... and it happened right after he flashed beats audio drivers...

No I just haven't updated info yet I'm on noob rom, and I'm using glitch kernal with zram, it think its 4.1. I'll try a factory reset and see if that works, thank you.

And the flashable I used is in that app called "pimp my rom " the .Zip tryed to install music fx and awsomeBEATS but couldn't parse package because they are for 4.xx. so it only installed the drivers

Ok so i just flashed and my music player still works just fine... the apks don't work because they are for ics and later but this issue you are having is probably kernel related... I don't recommend this flash but thats not why your audio playback is not working...

I had the same problem for quite a while. And I was on the alien kernel, and now that you say something it was after flashing the beats drivers. Double twist player got my music to play but couldn't get it to play anywhere else. But now.... it all plays but I've flashed multiple rooms and different kernels and wiped my SD card as well

I had that when I was beta testing Alien. DM said he forgot to allocate RAM (PMEM maybe?) for the audio or something like that.

Were did you get the drivers? because I found that the ones I flashed were not interfering with music playing, It was just the kernal I was using.

I think I snagged an apk from one of the roms I tried and then installed it on to another.
And I might have found something on 4shared to.

Oh ok I got mine off the app pimp my rom, and it has two apps included in the zip but they wont install because their only compatible with 4.xx, I didn't really notice any problems with the drivers, it actually did improve sound quality. I wouldn't really recommended installing but I didn't come across any problems with them, it was just a kernal I was using.

I didn't notice anything special. And it conflicted with volume+ which is way more effective in my experience. Both of them fc'd, one after the other.
