Root [Boost Mobile] Help pleeez!!

I'm trying to install Woodstock's B08 nandroid with CWM.
CWM can't find it. I already cleared my cache and data.
He kept saying to put the nandroid on the clockworkmod/backup folder...but I didn't see it on my sd card. So I just put it on the root of my sd card.
What do I do now???
 
You need to either do a back up of your current system with CWM (this will create a CWM folder on the SD card) or just create a folder named clockworkmod and a folder within that folder named backup. Place the Nandroid in the backup folder and boot into CWM. Do a factory restore, clear cache, clear Dalvik Cache, then go to back/restore, choose restore, and you should see the name of the folder you placed in the CWM backup folder.

Would have happened when you installed the Nandroid anyway. Hope you backed up your apps with Titanium Backup first. If not it's not a big deal, any paid apps will be listed in your Market account, free apps you will have to search and download again.
 
ok I'm doing a backup now...but I already cleared my data and cache.
Is it too late to save my stuff?
 
ok I installed the nandroid.
The phone is still in stock...all of my apps are still on my sd card how can I get them back on the phone?
 
If you did not back up your apps using an app like Titanium Backup or My Backup then the best way is to sign in to Market, touch the menu/settings button on your phone (the one between home and the back arrow) and click on My Apps. All of your paid apps will be listed there. If you don't have any paid apps, then you can begin your search for the free apps by name. Just click on the magnifying glass (search icon) at the top of the Market screen.
 
Right, just download the apps again.

Think of the nandroid restore process as a 2-part process. You use nandroid backup to restore the phone's OS and Titanium Backup (or similar) to back up & restore your apps, settings, and customizations. You don't have to use an application backup program, but it definitely saves a lot of time if you do frequent nandroid restores.
