Root [Boost Mobile] [HELP] Rooting - Camera Button Does Not Select

Hi,
I just got a ZTE Warp and am ready to install a custom ROM. I have a problem though.

I followed the simple EasyRoot guide, however after booting into Android System Recovery, the camera button does not select any options. I can navigate up and down with the volume buttons, however pressing the camera button does not select anything, and at that point I cannot even shut down with the power button. I have to remove the battery...

Any tips, I googled however I didn't find anyone else reporting this issue.

When the phone is booted in the Android OS, the camera button works fine to bring up the camera, so that is not the issue. :s

Thread can be closed, the home key works for selecting items in the menu.
