Root [Boost Mobile] Hot plate Alternative

Hi, I want to replace the lens and digitizer on my warp, I've already took it all apart, except for those two pieces, because I've seen they use an electronic hot plate but I don't have one.

I don't want to force my way on the screen because the LCD works fine and I'm afraid I'll brake it up.
So any tips, tricks or alternatives?

The lcd and digi are held mainly together by two screws at to bottom of the phone and the rest snapped in. As for the lcd its held in to the metal frame with extra strength double sided tape.

Oooh and would you happen to know if it's the same on the sequent?

never messed with the sequant. And I used a hair dryer to help loosen the glue and used a small flat head to remove the screen.. But I can not promise it will not damage the lcd screen.

the sequent lcd and digitizer is pretty much an assembly.. getting the digitizer and lcd apart is almost impossible and to date, I still have not seen the lcd for sale. The lcd and digitizer combo and the digitizer alone are sold but that's all i found. so even if you get the digitizer off and clean, you still would need to find the lcd alone for it to be all worth it... the sequent digitizer is glued to the lcd and the whole assembly is double sided taped to the housing of the phone. There is no screws holding any of the screen parts on the sequent... Hope the info is helpful to you...

Yes it does, thank you so much! I was trying to choose between the combo or the digitizer and lens only, since the LCD is working fine, so now I'll get the combo.
Damn screen has a vertical strip dead.
