Download a wifi tether app from the play store (preferably free) and then run the app. If you want to get fancy you can set up a security code so only your computer can connect to it. But all you have to do is push the start button in the app, make sure that your device is rooted though if not google supersu.zip, download that and flash in cwm. Then you will be rooted.

First off welcome to warp, nice having a big screen huh, prevails to puny. Anyway try barnacle tether off the market, works well for me.
