Have you tried a ROM Dump: Index of /romdump

No, haven't tried it. But I think I figured it out and if I'm right I now have a kernel, recovery.fstab, and other related files. One step closer to a recovery image for CyanogenMod![]()
Oops - mean to write ClockworkMod - trying to get a recovery.img ready for that. Right now I gotta tweak the partition table mapping because the tools that come with CWM don't build the fstab file correctly for this phone.
If someone wants to run romdump and send me the files it produces I should be able to build a clockwork of recovery image fairly easly...

I setup SDK on my windows 7 64bit laptop and I can not get the romdump to work I have tried it several times. I have even tried the terminal app and it always states that i dont have permission. Any help would be great.![]()
have you rooted your device?
if you type 'id' what does it say?

uid=10184(app_184) gid=10184(app184) groups=1015(sdcard_rw).3003(inet)
I typed su first, got the # sign, then typed id and got uid=0(root) gid=0(root)
thats odd, so you push the romdump file to /data/local/? and then did a chmod 04755 /data/local/romdump ?
is that when you got the error?
I got the error when i ran the last command "/data/local/romdump" thats when the errors show up but yes i ran them in that order.
what was the exact error you got?
part of the issue is that it would seem the root method your using is not 100%.. I will upload a better version for you in the next hour or so...
for those who feel the need to expirment
