I think so I never messed with that before, I know you wont lose your apps or settings for me I just went from his kernel to the oc kernel yesterday and everything is same, except now iam oc, I don't use wifi or Blue tooth. After you flash, if you do you might have to fix permission in cwm.
 
I'm pretty sure this was discussed on your oc? thread, and pretty thoroughly

Did you change your proxies?? That makes your wifi unable to launch its driver's. The problem is not your rom its the proxies. I even changed them back and it didn't fix it. You have to restore with a nandroid or reflash the rom to fix it. I've tried it 3 times (I know)

Hey downthemachine do everyone a favor plz.. Make a backup then change your proxies to 0.0.0.0 or leave them blank!! Then try to use wifi or wireless tether. Then make a sticky telling fools to stop doing it if they want they're wifi!!! It's to the point now where people that aren't very bright are trying to change they're phone inside and out and instead of trying to use they're head to solve the problem they rush to ask people for help. Most problems are easy to solve on your own with common sense, Google, and some will power

Its not downthemachines fault that thomasmbl doesn't listen or read and mess up his phone. Thomasmbl was like this in the prevail threads its just the way he is its annoying

How could he be. Every man is responsible for themselves. B-) I said that because his voice carries weight and I'm seeing a lot of people change proxies and have absolutely no idea why they're wifi won't work. Needs to be brought to light

I've gone through quite a few roms & never effected my prl. Changing roms shouldn't change your prl at all
 
Worst part is I clearly stated there is issues that are not resolved yet with the OC. They are on the same post twice.

I dont mind helping, but I honestly don't know why I respond, when I know I'm not gonna get a response from the op. So, I digress
