Root [Boost Mobile] In need of help

Hi all, I've been stuck with this issue for a while now and it's gotten me stumped.
On alot of roms I get an issue where everything works smoothly until the screen powers off, when I try to power it on nothing happens.
I have to manually batery pull every time and i know there's got to be a simple way to fix this im trying to return to a Nandroid backup by woodstock.
I also got this issue on another rom.

What ROMs are you using? And as.far.as.i know its a kernel issue
 
I've used alot of different ones.
The only one that seems to work for me as of now is Shins because it doesn't have the issue.
I'm trying to get back to a Nandroid backup by woodstock because of the kernel issues with shins
Basically the only time i can see the lock screen is after a fresh boot, otherwise when i try to get to it the screen feintly lights up (Still black, but noticably not as black)

Well i suggest just using stock there also vilano rom and a new ones.coming out soon bluerom
 
That's my problem I'm trying to use the nandroid backup to return to stock. lol.
It seems im stuck inbetween either a functioning phone with delayed 3g or a phone that i can't let lock.

Are you having trouble returning to stock?
 
Yes. If my screen powers down and hits the black screen i try to press the power button to bring up the unlock screen and nothing happens
 
Yea woodstocks. Going to try the other one he provided since there were two to see if it fixes it at all. This is confusing

Hold off im uploading a stock ROM so it should resolve all issues youll just have to download it from the other help thread when i post it
 
Yeah the full stock works fine, i tried to go from full stock -> nandroid backup and it still isnt working.
Shame :/
I think it has something to do with the WP7 lockscreen / screen power off/on animation being different from the stock and then somehow that ****s it up for all my other roms too ha

Id say just stick to stock then
