Boost mobile insurance deal

hey boost mobile is having a deal but only this month "MAY 2012" your device is eligible to sign up for the extra $5 a month again no matter when you bought the phone. the insurance covers damaged including liquid, stolen, and lost devices.

My wife and i both have the transform ultra with the boost insurance and we were told that the insurance doesnt cover water and our deductible is $75

I've had the insurance since I got my phone and have been considering dropping it. I've read quite a few horror stories on Boost's facebook page about phones not being replaced for water, or because it was dropped. And then when they do replace it you get a ZTE warp instead of a Transform Ultra. I'm not sure how true all that is but between all that crap and the deductible I'm not sure it's worth it.

I'm not sure. True the Boost mobile site claims that even water damage is covered but on the TOC of the insurance company itself (asurion) they state

Covered Causes of Loss means risks of mechanical or electrical breakdown or being lost, stolen or directly damaged, except as limited or excluded elsewhere in the policy.

I do not see any mention of liquid damage. Can it be lumped under "directly damaged"? Possibly. Deductible should be $65, not $75.
