What did everyone get a taste of jb and leave lol. Umm im not sure if this is a stupid question ,but i bought a class 10 16gig lexar sd card off ebay for 20 dollars.basically what are the cons of a cheaper sd card? If that makes sense. It works fine but i went from an expensive 8gig class 4 for an everyday user will it do anything besides more space? Sorry for all the questions guys and girls

The cheaper one may have less read/write capability, I haven't noticed any real differences myself from one to the other performance wise. Right now i have a class 4, 16 GB, compared to a clas 10 / 32GB I had earlier. No diference I can tell. Both are sandisk cards.

I probably shouldnt of given my girlfriend the sandisk ohh well. I think when i tranfer stuff from my internal to external its a little faster woo.thanks for that post on classes also i appreciate it

I kind of think it's a sales ploy, I've got the high end and the low end cards, and REALLY, can't tell much difference. I guess you'd have to be a videophile, or audiophile to notice. Maybe, just like with everything else, you get lemons, and you get "sunshine".

wife and I bought a couple of those cheep cards off ebay...tried to transfer our files off the old cards to the new....would NOT transfer a lot of the pictures or any sub folders...I thought it was the computer...until I tried the second new card and got same results.. sent them back and got Scandisk cards...no problems what so ever...you do get what you pay for....

You take your chances on ebay, I've got good stuff, but you take your chances. Then it's a hassle, and time.

Lol I didn't know they had benchmark tests for an SD card ..and actually the Chinese card doing better than my Sandisk surprisingly no issues so far.. And talking about ebay ...I love it so far only good things I got off there which is basically everything in my house from my 47inch TV to my onda tablet lol

It may have been suggested already but you might wanna check out an sd card fixer for a pc.. i had similar problems and this fixed it.

I tried windos xp, 7 , and 8....also tried ubuntu, mint linux and puppy linux....so I believe it was a card issue and not pc issue....also these operating systems were on different computers. Plus if you have to run a program to fix something right out of the box....how dependable is it to begin with?
