Root [Boost Mobile] Launcher7 Force Closing

Hope someone can help. I can flash Chevs WP7 2.2 Rom and Launcher 7 works, but when i try to use 2.3 or the new 3.0 it force closes after running the inital setup. I have also flashed Dirtyredz Vilano ROM but it does the same thing. Steps i have taken each install....

1. factory/data reset & Clear Cache
2. cleared dalvik-cache via CWM
3. selected install zip from sd card
4. after install of ROM i selected fix permissions.
5. reboot

Im at a loss, not sure what else i can do. Im running stock kernel on B08C.

I had the same issues and also tried those steps to remedy the issue. My fix was to uninstall Launcher7 via Root Uninstaller, reboot, then install Launcher7 from the Market.
 
What I did was but it or just download free version. I've noticed with some ROMS when people put a donate version of a launcher this may happen. The data tells that the phone hasn't paid for it or some shit like that
 
I uninstalled the Launcher 7 app, rebooted and installed the free version from the market. It also crashes. Any other ideas/thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

did you try to clear data in settings/ applications/manage applications,scroll down to you see launcher 7,clear data. not sure if help but i would try it.
 
Here are others steps I used since I had the same issues with 2.30. Make a backup first. I started with a clean slate for the 3.0. I installed the Woodstock Nandroid backup. I used the B08c which was already rooted with CWM. Wiped everything beforehand. I applied the JB fix. Booted, made sure everything was working, then installed via CWM the W7 3.0 version. Applied the JB fix and Superuser zip. Booted and selected the other launcher. Installed Root Uninstaller and Removed the Launcher7. Booted to CWM and wiped cache and davlik. Booted than installed the Launcher7 from the market.

That worked. Now running Launcher 7 installed from the market. Thanks for the help.
 
i didnt knw about this but i used this rom now and i think it removed my root from the phn T_T idk what to do can someone help me? or do i have to root the phn again?
 
for those of you having lockscreen issues on vilano rom, check this out

"just realized i left go locker in as a system app. this may be the issue some are having, remove "ru.maintarget.golocker.theme.vintage.apk" & "com.jiubang.goscreenlock" from system apps and see if that fixes your issue"
 
wp7 force close issue....if you just uninstall via TI backup, but make sure the launcher you plan on using, or at least ANY launcher is installed as system app, and then reboot your phone, the fc's will stop.
