Root [Boost Mobile] Need help choosing a ROM

Hey, I need help choosing a ROM for my warp. I had root it with Easy Root CWM and flashed the Shinjitsu Rom and it worked fine just laggy. So I re-flashed it with the CT Mod Rom and I really like it, just one problem... The in-call volume is to low. I seen a post on there too but it didn't help me out. I've download many many apps to fix it and Volume+ but I don't know how to use it to change the settings? So I researched the problem a little more in-depth and it has something to do with the kernel. The Incall volume quality on stock was perfect and after I flashed it with a custom rom it decreased. I know it was a stupid move to not backup before I flashed but hey I'm only learning. So I kinda want it back to stock rom or if you could at least help me with a rom that has the kernel with the incall volume as it was as it was stock. That would really help me out. I sen the post where the stock rom is posted but I don't know which one to download? And does B10 refer to the baseband version? Cuz mine is one N860B01 and I am really confused. I really appreciate the help :/

Welcome to Android Forums Anonimus0704! :D
Basically, just try out different roms until you find one you like. Roms here are a bit laggy upon the first flash, a reboot fixes it. It happens across all phones and roms. Shinjiutsu ROM is one of the older roms (a great one nonetheless), so other roms will have newer mods and tweaks to it. CTmod is a great rom with a great balance of speed and customization. Warp OEM is the fastest rom (counting the benchmarks) that we have with everything working (Alliance is first but its in Alpha). Its a great ROM to start on.

There is also a thread that has a link to a great sound mod called Ac!d Sound Mod, a user here found it and its really great. Personally, I use it across all my roms since I love it so much.

To go back to full unrooted stock, try the ZTE Warp updater too that you can find on the ZTE USA Website.

You can also download whichever version of the stock rom you want, though the latest is usually best.

About the baseband version, I'm not sure about that, ZTE has always had a weird way of doing things .-.

You are a life saver :] Thanks so much.

Anytime, that's what we're here for :D
Oh, since you're new, some things I always tell the newbies to help em avoid problems later on...
never ask devs, themers, modders, etc., for ETA's on updates, releases, fixes, etc., everyone here has a real life to attend to that is always of importance. Its like an unwritten rule, but IMO it really should be written down somewhere. Just remember this and the Site Guidelines, and respect others in this community, and you'll be just fine :)
Also don't be afraid to ask questions if you have any, its the easiest way to learn :D

One last thing before I turn in for the night, here is the flashable that I mentioned earlier:
http://androidforums.com/boost-mobile-warp-all-things-root/683306-my-experience-rooting-favorite-rom-music-player-must-read-if-you-like-quality-sound.html
Its MUCH better than the Beats Audio mod thats out there for Gingerbread ROMs, super clear sound thats not loud but strong (I would know about all this, I'm in a freaking marching band I have to stand in front of a line of tubas all the damn time -.-)

Happy flashing! :D

Okay thanks, I came across something and I was just wondering if the zte upgrade tool will knockout any of my service activation? I know when you update from the system updates through settings it doesn't and I was making sure it was gonna be the same process perhaps? I just wanted to double check

It's not the same process, the update tool can restore your phone, system updates just does regular updates
