Root [Boost Mobile] New PRL Update

Last time I tried was a little after you posted this. I was still running CTMod and decided to give it a try. Every time I tried to update, nothing would happen, so I just left it alone. I thought maybe it would have to be done manually but I've never tried since I really don't wanna screw up my phone (mainly cause I have no way of replacing it atm if it died).
 
Manual updating is perfectly safe as long as you don't do anything other than the PRL... There's lots of stuff when using a program like CDMASW but don't do anything with it unless you know what your doing... PRL is easy to do; I even swapped to a sprint PRL on my S2 right after I got it without a second thought.
 
Sorry for the late reply...got called in to work last minute. I've seen the tutorial on it and it seems easy but...I rather not mess with it just in case. I don't understand why my phone is being stubborn. Maybe it doesn't like change :p
 
My guess is that for some reason when you try to do ota PRL update the system isn't recognizing the PRL your using so its not updating it. I had that happen when I was using a sprint business PRL and tried ota updating on my warp; manual changed to a boost PRL and boom it updated. I also had that issue with a boost PRL on one of the ROMs I tried where PRL update wouldn't work.
 
I've been using the 33030 prl. No problems. I think Boost, and Sprint are messing with us. I updated the 32030 at first..... ehhhh.
 
LoL they have so many all the time its wrong. I'm using sprint PRL 25016 right now because I get better signal at home with it.
