Root [Boost Mobile] Official help thread

This is a great idea. Im working on a custom rom of my own. I've seen mention of people using various kernels such as downthemachime's, shins, and hoarak's. Do we have a thread where people can find these for download?

Hoaraks and dtms are both listed in the all things root guide stickied at the top of the forum. For shins I think you'll have to get it directly from him or pull it from his ROM. I would suggest asking him for it and permission to use it since it's not been posted.
 
I need help porting our device config from our kernel sources to a 3.0.8 source, if anyone wants to help pm me, I'll get you the two sources
 
OK I'm not having any luck figuring this out...
I want to have the led set up to only turn green when the battery is at 100%.
I'm still in the habit that once its green I'm fully charged and good to go. But that's not the case with the warp.

Any help would be great.

I saw power management when i was glancing through services.jar...maybe in there?
 
Would i be correct in assuming that /sys is written by the kernel? Not just boot.img but the actual kernel.img inside zimage?

The kernel image is withing in the boot.img, packed also with the ramdisk, which includes the files that are at the root of your phone, init.rc , etc. Yes, its called a zimage, which is a zip compressed version of the compiled kernel.
 
I have an issue, in Google play when I try to down load a free app error pops up. [DF-BPA-09].anyone know of this I am running noob rom but I know its not the rom.
