Root [Boost Mobile] Question Reguarding Recent Kitkat Upgrade!

You copy the entropy file to the location specified (system/etc/init.d) Once copied there, long press on the file. A list of options will pop up. Permissions will be among them. Select it. You'll have the boxes under READ, WRITE, EXICUTE. Check the boxes in those categories. It says special permissions at the bottom. Leave all of those blank.

Easy peasy

Ya I keep trying to to copy file to that location but I cant due to file restrictions. I dont know how to change permission of the init.d folder or what I doing wrong so it wont copy. Tried a few rooted file managers with no luck

I was finally able to complete my mission and get the entropy file copied to init.d folder. I used 4 different root file managers and tried to both cut and copy file to the init.d folder and kept getting read protection problems. I thought entropy file I was using and the init.d folder had the right permissions.
One file manager let drag and drop the file to the init.d folder and then it copied to the folder! :D
I am great with Windows OS and know how to do anything to fix and keep them running but I admit I am a Android noobie and same with Linux so a big thanks goes to wetbiker7 for all his hand-holding helping me get all these things working and also thanks also to all the help I got from so many people here.

Just one thing now bothering about my current setup. I cant get 2 lines of text on my desktop so I can see longer file-names without text being cut off. Here a snapshot of one the working right. I tried different tweaks with Nova Launcher Prime but none helped except using condensed fonts which just shrinks the fonts to give more room. I did research on web to no avail.

Heres a pic of desktop with 2 rows of text but cant find how it was done.
