Root [Boost Mobile] [ROM] Fallout Link available =]

Just an update on how things are going,
Windows 8 is fully set up, however java isn't recognized so cygwin, apkmanager, everything i need doesn't work (sweet!)
On a good note, I can do everything manually =]
I am planning on finding a ton of features from different roms (some ported from other phones) and packing them into a major update. I am also thinking about going to the Xperia launcher to follow a trend, It will loose the fallout theme for a short time though until I create a xperia fallout theme (takes a ton of time but ill try to get it out asap).
QUESTION????? Do you guys want xperia launcher or stick with golauncher? its your call.

EDIT: YES!!! I installed java 32bit instead of 64bit(which it should be DX) and it worked! I have my programs back...The inner nerd in me is dancing!

It's weird I had to use the 32 bit java and I'm on windows 7 64bit...

Also I like Xperia
 
Fallout 1.4 beta ready, includes init.d scripts, xperia with timescape and new boot animation. Went to turn on laptop to upload and my cooling fans won't turn on so I can't boot up ( its a new hp pavilion g7) I'm going to try to upload from phone since I won't have a computer for a few weeks

Edit: called hp I'm getting a new motherboard and fan free :-D, told them about how I need my computer for coding and online software development and got expedited shipping free. I'll be back in around 7 days. I'm going to learn java coding from books while I don't have a computer so when I get back I'll be able to do more.

Let's try this out, doesn't hurt, even though it's based ona older ui it's something to build upon. If we can dissect this and understand the dependencies, we can even update the launcher to Xperia S. Ya never know. But really it's all about optimization and convenience, for me.

I have been searching for a solution to this timescape thing for a while now, I've loved Sony Ericsson since my T-68 days.
 
The sony launcher has potential, but i cant bring myself to use this launcher just because of the pixel offset. So adw here i come :D other than that though the roms awesome. Not that the launcher is your fault o.o

Back when I had at&t I had a small Sony Ericsson phone, that was win win mobile was the only "smartphone" and that was just a phone with Internet and a calendar. But anyway my Sony sucked it was supposed to be a good music phone it wasn't half bad until I slid the phone up for the keyboard and it slid right off onto the floor. From then I vowed to never get Sony Ericsson again.

Plus at&t was horrible, I got a $20 fee for trying to send a picture that never sent and It should have been free because I had unlimited text. I switched to boost and it's great but I think in a year or so I'm getting Verizon because I want 4G and sprint isn't getting lte for a while then it's select cities not rural where I live

Yea that's what I found out with a little research. $70 for sprint $80 for att $100 for Verizon.... $45 for boost doesn't sound so bad anymore haha. Boost is the best with customer service (not the company, you guys) and I have great signal. Att I had no 3g and my sister got full 3g if not 4g. I thought they were out to get me, seriously! I love boost I just wish they had 4G towers.. But hey did you hear the I phone is coming September I believe
 
Yea its gonna be like $500 for a 8gig but many people want a phone they know won't have any sort of problem. I hate apple products though. The mac is nice but $2000 seriously? It's worth maybe $500
 
I'd rather buy an evo 4G and flash it to boost. Lol. I can build a better pc for like $600. Which I will, once I get a job again xD

Things must have changed because I was doing so much with my t-68, it was unbelievable, in 2001, and I have been hooked on technology and phones every since. Back then it was Bluetooth and it's capabilities, now it's a whole different ballgame. I just want to be able to build one from scratch and program it from design forward. And my ex-wife flushed my T-68, I spent alot of time modding it, I unlocked it, man I've been loving this stuff for a while, can't wait to go to school.
 
I'm the same way I need java to build from scratch but not this fall but maybe in the winter if I can get into a java class at my college I will

Im using 1,4 and the xperia is strech i cant see the bottom of the icons, also i cant download certain apps like iris or instagram.

I tried it didnt work, still no instagram, also the xperia home u could change settings and icon pack, this one I can't.....
 
I ported the actual launcher from a Sony xperia device. The bottom is cut off for some reason I think I just need to mess around with lcd density. The apps download, I need to run some troubleshooting I'm sorry for the problem unfortunately I won't have my computer back until next week to fix it
 
I found a fix! Go to apps settings list. Go to all, and search for Google framework (I think it says Google services framework) and hit force close and clear data. Then go to play store settings and force close and clear data. Restart phone and you can download instagram and anything else

Here is the fix, this is the only launcher I found with the proper resolution, and that is compatible with this version of Timescape. Cut and paste it into system/apps with root explorer and make sure the permissions are the same as the rest.
