Root [Boost Mobile] Saving apps b4 rooting?? Backup??

Sorry if this has been asked already but couldn't find anything by doing a search. Im new to these smartphones and learning alot from these forums but still not 100% on what Im doing.

I'm thinking about rooting my phone but have alot of apps and info on it that I don't want to lose. Can I root and still keep my apps or am I gonna have to reload everything? What's the best way to backup what I have so I can get it moved to the rooted device?

Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

Don't worry, you will not have to reload a thing. The rooting process is quick and easy and does not mess with your personal information or apps that you have on your android in any way. You can watch the noob friendly video on how to root your zte warp by watching this video:

I did everything the video tells you to do and it didn't work. So I tried again and nothing..... Made sure I had the USB symbol....check.....made sure I had the little android bug guy for debugging...check... Tried again... this time I right clicked OPEN instead of RUN AS ADMIN.... worked just fine.... I now have Superuser!!! Thanks guys!!

Not sure if I jumped the gun on being rooted.... I have Superuser so figured I was good. But after downloading titanium backup *root* it shows me this.......
Sorry, I could not aquire root priviledges. This application will *not* work! Please verify your ROM is rooted and includes BusyBox, and try again.
On the overview screen it tells me root access: x failed
Not sure if there should be a BusyBox icon but there isn't. I tried downloading one but it won't get access either.
Do I have my settings wrong on superuser? I played with the preferences a little and I can get superuser to allow permission to Ti Backup but it still has the root access fail on the overview screen.
Not sure what Im doing here and don't want to make things worse. If someone can help me out that would be great. Can I reset my phone to get rid of root without wiping everything?? Thanks for any help I can get.

Open up superuser once and follow the prompts, I had to update my binaries in superuser before ad blocker would work
