Does anyone know how to mount a sd-ext partition? On the prevail, i had used a modified darktremor app2sd. I think the prevail had an option to mount sd-ext in cwm. Both the warp and prevail i used cwm to partition the sd card, but i didn't see that option to mount it on the warp. Anyways what in trying to do get swapper to swap to ext. Worked great on the prevail. I'm a little lost on what i should look into

ok i've done some research and looked through a bunch of posts showing you how to mount the sd-ext. everyone of them used terminal editor, and typed the
$ su
# mount -l ext2 /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 /sd-ext

now the issue with that is mmcblk0p2 is not there, verified this with root explorer
its actually here:
/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.2/mmcblk0p2
now, i've tried to use that in place of the other location, still a no go, i've also gone through darktremors script to see how that was mounted, and it uses the same as above. I went on xda and came up with pretty much the same stuff. Now going through all this, alot of people were saying that you can't mount a sd-ext on a stock rom.

Bad news. I've tested some scripts for mounting the sd-ext(modified to work with the warps file structure) and it turns out that mounting other partitions has not been implemented in the kernel. So anyone with a better understanding of coding, if you could help, that would be appreciated. One again this is not for app2sd its for extended swap

I try in my smartphone :
su
# mount -l ext2 /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 /sd-ext
mount -l ext2 /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 /sd-ext
unknown option -- lmount: invalid option -l

So has anyone figured a way to do this via script. As far as i can tell cwm does create and mount ext3. But nothing seems to recognise it. Ie total commander...Ok on further inspection i have sd-ext on the root. Copied data/data over. it copied and looked like it preserved the file attributes. Will check deeper in the sub dirs to the files to verify. But upon reboot sd-ext was wiped clean. Any ideas there?
