Root [Boost Mobile] Settings background

Anyone know which file in which system apk you need to edit to change the black settings background to another color?

I have no idea... the most possible locations are the framework-res and the settings.apk

Yea I figured as much, but can't seem to find the right .PNG to edit

It doesn't have to be a PNG... there is probably an XML somewhere... its just a generic black background...

I know how to decompile the apks and edit them like the png9 files or other png files and the xml but how do you compile them so you can re-load them back on your phone again? I have apkmuiltool but when I run compile apk under the Advance Tasks # 11 it tells me an error Occured, please check the log (option24). Shouldn't it just compile it then place it somewhere for me to find, so I can place it back on my phone?

There is an error somewhere... use the 21 command and look at the log... and post it here so I can see what the problem is

OK Thanks, well I just ran it again and there is a ton of stuff that comes up and just way to much for me to type so you can look at it.
 
there should be a log.txt file in the main folder of apktool... Just copy and paste it...

Jet this is what I hae been messing a round with and when I reboot after flashing the rom my phone gets stuck in boot loop. Can I send you your rom back with the chages I made so can look at it to see if it was complied right?
