Root [Boost Mobile] Smurfed out int.d tweak for warp

mholloway

Android Expert
Has anyone ever heard of papa smurfs build prop and int.d script, well I installed this numerous times and each time phone stuck in boot loop.anyway I took the smurf int.d tweak and had to remove the kernel tweaks for it to work.
I am running noob V with downthemachines kernel and super phone III My super phone build prop is very close to smurfed out build prop so I think with this int.d tweak the phone seems better.
THANKS GO OUT TO PAPA SMURF FROM XDA.
Download to SD card
Copy to system/ect/int.d
Paste.
Far as permissions I left mine the way they are and cartersball is going to test.
If anyone know about permissions please post

Be better explained if you download it and open with text editor or read text. But it has multiple tweaks ,speed tweaks governor tweaks and more so please download and check it .you don't have to use it just cause you download it.

I can verify it runs on the warp. I'm having the same old Wi-Fi issues though so I need to go through the file and find out what is causing it. Very laggy on first boot, but eventually evened itself out. Runs smooth so far generally switching between screens. A test run of Temple Run seemed smooth as well. Not much of a gamer on my phone though so some one else should probably give that a thorough test. If I find anything else or a fix for the Wi-Fi switching issue I'll post another update.

Thanks cartersball .but I didn't really notice the lag lol but I do respect your opinion. I thank you for testing.credit will be given.

I am not experiencing wifi issues on wifi right now.
Edit: no is issue sometimes it connects sometimes it don't.

My issue is the same as before I think. Right now I can't switch WiFi off at all. When I do it switches itself back on. Lol. Only other time I have seen that is with the 3g tweaking on build.prop files. Running through each line to check out what this does exactly.

Also I set permissions to match the other files in the init.d folder. Not sure if that made a difference or not. Will test that angle as well.

OK wifi problem I see is just doesn't connect all the time even though it says connected, I didn't change permissions yet maybe shin would have a good idea of that,I will send him a pm.

If you are on noob v try pulling out loopy smoothness I found that script didn't play nice with swap

That script doesn't play nice with being started at boot lol

The loopy smoothness script, yea it boots but has to run so many checks, I have it set to 14 I believe ,I wonder if it could be cut down more lol this whole thing problaly a waste but I like the fact of having multiple tweaks in one instead of having to install each one seperate.

Do u leave the .txt extension or do u take it off.cuz the other files in my int.d folder don't have any extensions on them..

Leave it on. That's what I did. Just copy paste and reboot.

I got the changes you pmed mholloway. Will check them out later tonight after work.

in the full noob v I plan on having a second init.d folder (probably called init.d2) for scripts to run after boot like before, that will probably solve some of the issues I have seen with scripts that don't like to run at boot.

If you want to test how that works on the current setup, you can use the install-recovery and point it to init.d2 and create that folder with the same permissions as init.d and drop scripts in there.

I'm running noob+noob v update, the int.d2 is already there.so best place to put the script would be the int.d2 right?and which script is supposed to be better performance?with or without the loopy smoothness?I'm using the 2nd update script right now and it running OK,but if without loopy smooth is better then ill use that..just would like sum opinions..thanks guys

Its hard to say I removed loopysmoothness and had it in int.d I think it was little better.now I have with loopy smoothness in int.d 2 .I would suggest test both ways but try each one seperately in int.d 2.
That's what I am doing first with loopy then will test without.
