Root [Boost Mobile] Stock Apk installation help.

Heyy guys I'm having a little trouble installing the stock gallery apk I used root explorer and set permission and rebooted and such and still won't show up any help? Thanks guys

Reboot to recovery, fix permissions, clear dalvik and cache, reboot

Thanks a lot man! But it's for my galaxy rush it's rooted and running clockworkmod it can't wipe or do fix permissions yet since it still needs the recovery img it's still in beta but I'll see if it'll work thankYou

Ok...since you're rooted try using a terminal emulator and type "rm /data/dalvik-cache/*.*" without quotes and reboot

That cleared my dalvik! I fixed permissiions and still didnt work :/

Ok...just to be sure.../system is mounted as rw in root explorer when you copy/paste and change permissions?

Yes I set permissions like rw r r

I can't think of anything else off hand...are you able to/have you tried to install it as a /data/app?

How do you do that? I am gonna just delete reboot set it again reboot wipe cache dalvik then fix permission and reboot to see if it'll work thank you for your time it means a lot!

One of two ways...first is to just tap the app on your sdcard and it should ask if you want to install (make sure install unknown sources is checked in settings) second is to copy apk to /data/app and reboot
