Root [Boost Mobile] Uot kitchen

I am sure others have figured this out but I got UOT to work rght. I changed the update binary to the optimus and the sumited it and it installs and the changes took affect.

Really? Does that include power, airplane mode buttons, not status bar stuff? It takes so long to manually theme, this would save me time if it works :D
 
All staus bar icons are changing but the signal bar.. Cant figure that 1 out yet. The boot animation changed like it was suppose to. The other issue I am working on right now is the swipe down screen. It is white instead of black
 
i should of also mentioned not sure if it matters but I am on the 1.5.1c beta2 rom.. Also I uploaded the frameworek and systemui from the rom instead of using the one from the kitchen. Also had to wipe cache/devik. Then installed .zip But I have installed 5 differnet themes know trying to get it how I want it and they are all working for me..

So your method does our doesn't work to change the signal bars?
 
No. Not sure why cuz it changes all the others but the signal bar.. cant figure that out.

Edit: Was going to upload the file but for whatever reason I get a security token is missing so I cant upload it.

EDIT: I found another app that might help in changing status bar icons. Ninjamorph I have it installed but haven't had a chance to mess with it yet. Got it off the market.
 
It does end up in the systemui but incorrectly named. Other signal files are misappropriated to the framework, you really just need to rename the ones in the system ui and make them equal 6, and 6 that end in _fully.
Example
stat_sys_signal_6_0.png
stat_sys_signal_6_0_fully.png stat_sys_signal_6_1.png
stat_sys_signal_6_1_fully.png stat_sys_signal_6_2.png stat_sys_signal_6_2_fully.png stat_sys_signal_6_3.png stat_sys_signal_6_3_fully.png stat_sys_signal_6_4.png stat_sys_signal_6_4_fully.png stat_sys_signal_6_5.png stat_sys_signal_6_5_fully.png stat_sys_signal_6_6.png stat_sys_signal_6_6_fully.png

Those are what you are supposed to rename your files to. If you have 4 signal files, you will need to make file 2 be 2 and 3, and file 3 be 4 and 5. Example
UOT file
stat_sys_signal_2.png =
Name needed to work
stat_sys_signal_6_2.png and stat_sys_signal_6_3.png
And
stat_sys_signal_3.png =
stat_sys_signal_6_4.png
stat_sys_signal_6_5.png
For 6 file signal, don't worry about that.
Animated signal Icons do not work without editing the smali to correct the file name, which I can't get to work.
Edit:
Forgot to add that there is also a stat_sys_signal_null.png for when there is no signal, I have changed it to a red x, and other things. Honestly uot kitchen is a good template, but most theming is manual, like power notifications, etc.

very helpful thank you.. I was just about to ask that. I have 6 icons but the original has 13.. Getting closer to having a completed theme.. defiantly a lot more work than I thought. Good thing we have knowledgeable members here.
