And depends on the rom... remember my Touch of Ice Cream Jelly theme? In that thread I had "Lil'Add-Ons"... you can flash one of the packs and hopefully it'll work... in fact they were made for CTmod which used AOSP Messaging, although it was different from others... it should work with my rom which has the apns-conf.xml to work with the MMS app included in the flashable. In fact, if it works... you could try testing mms and if it works, I'll be able to put the add-ons in my rom thread
