As far as root and devving, It's the Prevail and the Warp. What phone should you get after payday? Personally, I would go with the Galaxy SII, Lot of good things going on with that phone. Check out the forum and see for yourself.
Sorry about your warp:mad: Makes me mad too.

Well im keeping it for gaming and internet as i dont have a pc at all but i think i broke something internaly when my little bro knocked it outa my hand i dont really feel like restoring stock and sending it in for repair i kinda wanna explore another phone

The prevail and the transform ultra both have good forums and plenty of support. Issue is they both have baby tiny screens. I was reading that the sg2 archived quick root but not sure about boosts version. Ill be honest and just say the only phone that would be an upgrade ( in my opinion) would be the sg2, possibly the evo if you get 4g

4g definatly would be a plus and but since ill be using tthe warp for games and internet the smaller screens arnt a big deal

In a way, the HTC 4G is a great developer's phone; dozens of ROMs and hacks have been released for it. However, its still an HTC product, and they're not exactly hacker-friendly. Or so I've heard.

I wanna switch from boost but i like shrinkage and i have a strong dislike for metro due to previous problems with their service in stores and over the phone with tech support and services anyone tried tmobile or anything similar

the problem your having with your warp i had with mine, and i went through similar process as you have, in the end i was told i just had to wait.
as far as switching services the only reason i can come up with to do that is coverage depending on where you live, most no contract service plans are about the same now except for at&t, i know for a fact their $50 plan dose not cover internet.
if you really wanna switch have you ever heard of simple mobile, they seem to have a good pricing plan and will take any "SIM" phone.

I haven't had the same problem but I've been debating on a new phone for quite awhile. And previously coming from the mt triumph, you going to really hate yourself and your phone taking a back step in to something that is smaller and slower. SII, sIII, eco V4g, and the note 2 have been the only phones I've been concidering. Its all what you want out of your hand held computer, I mean phone. Sacrafice size for development? All phones will come along. And if you don't mind having yesterdays model sII definately. Hope you find something you like

Google nexus and straight talk . 45 smackers a month, and three hundo for the phone if you can find one

Im also debating weather or not i need a new smartphone if i just use the warp asa tablet but i was thinkin about the sII i have to check out prices at the store next week but i think im stickin with boost
